Your physician
Meet Dr. Teeresa Sisodia
Board-certified family physician. Twenty-nine years. One hundred and fifty patients.

Background
Medicine was the language at home.
Dr. Teeresa Sisodia is a board-certified female family physician in Clearwater, Florida, with 29 years of clinical experience across inpatient, urgent and outpatient care. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Hindi, and she founded My Choice Primary Care so she could practise in a deliberately small concierge practice capped at 150 patients.
She was born in India, into a family that had produced physicians for generations. Medicine was not a career she chose so much as the language spoken at home, the thing discussed at dinner, the rhythm of an ordinary week.
Her family moved to the United States before her second birthday. The legacy travelled with them, and it still shapes how she practises: unhurried, curious, and more interested in the whole person than in the presenting complaint.
Listen deeply, teach thoughtfully, guide with purpose.
Training
Twenty-nine years, three settings.
A scholar and a linguist by instinct, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami before entering family medicine.
Twenty-nine years of practice followed, across inpatient care, urgent care and outpatient medicine. That range is why her judgment is quick without being hasty: she has seen how the same symptom behaves in a hospital bed, in an urgent care room, and in a fifteen-year relationship with a patient she knows well.

Approach
Listen deeply. Teach thoughtfully. Guide with purpose.
Her approach comes down to three things: listen deeply, teach thoughtfully, and guide with purpose.
In practice that means treating the physical, mental and emotional together rather than separately, and measuring success by healthspan, the number of good years, rather than by how well a single number is controlled.
She founded My Choice Primary Care to deliver the care she believes patients deserve and rarely get: relationship-centred, intentionally small, and guided by context and conversation rather than by the clock.

Away from the practice
A wife, a mother of two, and a keen gardener.
Away from the practice she is a wife and the mother of two teenage sons.
She reads, gardens, plays tennis, fishes and cooks. She would tell you those are not a break from the philosophy but an example of it: vibrant health is what makes a vibrant life possible, and she is not interested in prescribing something she does not practise.

Who she looks after
They do not arrive in crisis.
Members here tend to be thoughtful, proactive people who take their health seriously and want a physician who does the same. They do not arrive in crisis. They come because they value foresight, clarity and access.
What they say they would not trade is the peace of mind: a doctor who knows their story, anticipates what is coming, and walks with them through each stage of life rather than meeting them again at each one.
The practice stays intentionally small so every member gets genuine concierge-level attention. Wellness planning, complex condition management, preventive guidance: you get exceptional medical care, and you get a physician who is also a mentor and a guide.
The mission
To deliver high-quality, personalised primary care that combines each patient's own personal and family history with evidence-based guidance. To optimise healthspan by honouring individual goals. And to build a partnership that leaves patients genuinely able to reach their best health.

What her members say
Best doctor out there! I struggled finding and PCP for years because I never found anyone that would listen to me, make me feel seen & heard and be a voice for me when we needed to get answers for something!! She takes her time, makes sure to go over all the little details & symptoms with you to know the full picture so she can help you figure it out! She’s so kind so sweet, makes me feel like a person not a number and has helped me a ton!! If you’re in FL and looking for an incredible doc - I’d reccomend her every time!🙌🏼
I would recommend Dr. Sisodia to everyone! She is everything you would want in a doctor; she’s kind, compassionate, empathetic, thorough, brilliant and personable. She has helped make my life exponentially better, even in just a year. I appreciate her so much!
Dr. Sisodia Saved My Life – Exceptional Care and Thoroughness! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love Dr. Sisodia! I’m 44 years old and was experiencing tightness in my chest. My primary GP had closed their practice, leaving me without a doctor. I tried to make an appointment with a cardiologist, but it was canceled, and they told me to come back in two months. That’s when I started working with Dr. Sisodia. She conducted a very thorough exam and recommended a scan to check if anything was wrong with my heart. She was also able to get me an appointment with a cardiologist within the same week. Because of that recommended scan, I discovered I had a blood clot in my heart, which was treated immediately. Without her thoroughness and care, I don’t know if I’d still be here today. Dr. Sisodia, thank you so much for all you do for your patients and their families! - Anthony B.
